Children’s Discovery Den Gwendolyn Griffin is a dynamic nonprofit founder, mother of three, and emerging leader in trauma‑informed early childhood education. As the Founder and President of Revive 2 Thrive 2025 Inc., she brings a powerful blend of lived experience, professional expertise, and unwavering commitment to building safe, supportive, and developmentally rich environments for children and families across Maryland. As a mother raising a child with ADHD, Gwendolyn understands firsthand the challenges families face when navigating behavioral needs, developmental differences, and systems that are often not designed to support them. This personal journey fuels her mission to create a center where every child including those with ADHD, autism, and trauma histories is understood, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. Gwendolyn is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Education while simultaneously earning her Maryland Child Care Center Director credential and licensing requirements. Her academic training, combined with nearly two decades of professional experience in operations, project coordination, and federal agency support, uniquely equips her to build a high‑quality, compliant, and innovative early learning program from the ground up. Her leadership is defined by: A trauma‑informed, family‑centered philosophy A commitment to on‑site therapy and advocacy services for children and caregivers A vision for inclusive classrooms designed for neurodiverse learners A strong operational and compliance background A deep connection to the community she serves Under her direction, Revive 2 Thrive Children’s Discovery Den will become one of the few early learning centers in Maryland to integrate education, therapeutic support, and family advocacy under one roof a model inspired by her own lived experience and her belief that families deserve more than traditional child care. Gwendolyn’s leadership is rooted in compassion, resilience, and a bold vision for what early childhood education can be when families are truly supported.

Devona Brown

Founder, Family Engagement Leader & Community Advocate Revive 2 Thrive 2025 Inc. Children’s Discovery Den Devona Brown is a powerhouse of nurturing leadership and a living example of how a mother’s devotion can become the catalyst for extraordinary achievement. As a mother of five, she has transformed her home into a high-performance learning environment where education, emotional safety, and personal growth are non-negotiable standards. Her leadership begins in her household, but its impact radiates far beyond it. Devona’s tenacity is reflected in the remarkable accomplishments of her children. She successfully navigated the complexities of ADHD with her son, providing the specialized structure, advocacy, and emotional support he needed to not only overcome challenges but excel as a consistent honor-roll student. Her influence also shines through her athlete-scholar, who balanced competitive sports with academic rigor to earn a prestigious spot in the Montgomery County Knowledge Bowl a testament to Devona’s ability to cultivate discipline, resilience, and excellence. Her commitment to youth extends deeply into the community. As a Montgomery County cheerleading coach, Devona blends athletic mentorship with her signature nurturing spirit, creating a safe and empowering space for young people to grow. She is known as the adult children gravitate toward the one who listens, guides, and protects. Her home has long served as a refuge for her children’s friends, teammates, and peers, offering stability, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. Devona brings this same energy and expertise to Revive 2 Thrive. Her lived experience supporting children with ADHD, her ability to build trust with families, and her natural gift for creating safe, structured environments make her an invaluable partner in shaping the Children’s Discovery Den. She embodies the heart of the program: community-centered, family-driven, and committed to raising the next generation of resilient, brilliant, and confident leaders.

Taylor Jenkins

Autism Program Lead & Specialized Education Expert Revive 2 Thrive 2025 Inc. Children’s Discovery Den Taylor Jenkins is a highly skilled educator and autism specialist with more than seven years of hands-on experience supporting neurodiverse children in both school and community settings. As the leader of the Autism Department at Revive 2 Thrive Children’s Discovery Den, Taylor brings deep expertise, unwavering patience, and a passion for creating inclusive learning environments where every child can succeed. Taylor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has built her career around serving children with autism and developmental differences. She currently works within the Fairfax County Public School System in Virginia, one of the largest and most diverse districts in the region, where she provides direct support to students with autism across a range of needs and abilities. Her work includes individualized instruction, behavior support, sensory-responsive strategies, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each child receives the comprehensive care they deserve. With over seven years of experience, Taylor has developed a reputation for her calm leadership, evidence-based approach, and ability to connect with children who often struggle to feel understood in traditional settings. She is deeply committed to helping families navigate the complexities of autism services, ensuring they feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way. At Revive 2 Thrive, Taylor will lead the development of specialized autism-supportive classrooms, staff training, sensory-friendly environments, and individualized learning plans. Her expertise strengthens the center’s commitment to serving neurodiverse children with dignity, compassion, and high-quality instruction. Taylor’s leadership ensures that the Children’s Discovery Den is not just inclusive — it is intentionally designed to meet the needs of children with autism through structure, understanding, and a deep belief in every child’s potential.

Asa Arnold

Head of Counseling Department Early Childhood Development Counselor, Certified Doula, and Breastfeeding Counselor with a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental and Creative Psychology. She is dedicated to supporting children and families from pregnancy through the early childhood years, providing continuous care during the most formative stages of human development.

Grounded in psychological theory and child development research, Asa takes a whole-family approach that recognizes the powerful connection between caregiver wellbeing, early attachment, emotional regulation, and lifelong learning outcomes. Her work begins with prenatal and postpartum support and extends through infancy, toddlerhood, and preschool development.

Asa specializes in developmentally appropriate practice, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive family support. Her philosophy centers on creating nurturing environments where children feel safe, understood, and encouraged to explore, learn, and grow with confidence.

By integrating her academic background in developmental psychology with hands-on experience as a doula and breastfeeding counselor, Asa provides holistic guidance that supports both the child and the family unit. She collaborates closely with parents, educators, and community partners to strengthen family systems, promote healthy bonding, and foster emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help every child begin life with strong foundations, secure relationships, and the opportunity to thrive.
